Journey to Argentina through a vibrant selection of bold, flavourful selections from Laura Cantena's La Posta Wines and Luca Wines. Enjoy a sparkling reception followed by a four couse menu prepared by Oxbow Chef Rupert Garcia to pair perfectly with the variety of the wines. Laura Carena's wineries are dedicated to paying tribute to the traditional, small, family growers and to a group of special vineyard sites in Mendoza, Argentina. Connect to the heart of the vineyards through winemaker Estela Perinetti.With both family and vine roots in the region since 1887, Estela will share the stories, past and present, that shape the wine before you.

Balik Kultura Filipino Dinner

Monday, June 25 | 6PM 

Join some of Calgary's top Filipino culinary talent for an evening of incredible food and a celebration of community at Oxbow Restaurant. Balik Kultura, the Chefs are going back to their roots, taking their skill in the kitchen and showcasing traditional Filipino dishes with their own perspective. Enjoy four courses, all inspired by their heritage but influenced by their time in some of Calgary's top regional kitchens. 

Experience creative dishes prepared by Chef Rupert Garcia of Oxbow, Chef Jose Battad of Yellow Door Bistro, Chef Zac Ardena of Blink Restaurantand the exceptional pastry skills of Chef Ely Salar of the Hotel Arts Group. 

The four course meal will be paired with mini cocktails from Raw Bar's Franz Swinton, a trailblazer in the Calgary cocktail community. 

A culinary tribute to Filipino culture, going back to the roots, it's an evening not to be missed.
